From midday on 27 October 2020, the Armenian armed forces shelled again the Goranboy and Barda districts from different directions, once again violating the humanitarian agreement on temporary ceasefire.

As a result of heavy artillery shelling of the Garayusifli village of the Barda district by Armenian armed forces, 4 civilians were killed and 14 were injured. One of the dead and four wounded were minors.

Since 27 September 2020, as a result of provocations and war crimes against civilians living in our towns and villages far from the war zone, 36 children have been injured and 11 have been killed. This is a further manifestation of terrorist acts by the military and political leadership of Armenia. And this is not the end of Armenia's aggressive political actions. Seeing its army defeated in the war zone, Armenia engages children in hostilities, ignoring the basic norms of international humanitarian law.

Thus, the Armenian government violates all the following
signed declarations: IV. Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection Of Civilian Persons In Time Of War, United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the  Convention concerning the prohibition and immediate action for the elimination of the worst forms of child labor and Declaration on the Protection of Women and Children in Emergency and Armed Conflict.

The above-mentioned points indicate the extent of Armenia's indifference to the principles of international law and obligations. In the context of a 30-year armed conflict, Armenia's repeated brutal crimes against civilians, especially children, have so far not been subject to any international legal sanctions.

In this regard, we call on all international organizations to provide the necessary legal assessment of the illegal actions taken by Armenia, which contradict the norms and principles of international law.
