Mrs.  Bahar Muradova, chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and a member of the New Azerbaijan Party Board met with Mrs. Ayshe Keshir, chairperson of the AK Party Women's Union at the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party on July 27.

Welcoming the guests, Mrs. Bahar Muradova said that Azerbaijan and Turkey have traditions and culture with ancient historical roots: “Today, relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on mutual cooperation, friendship, brotherhood, and equality. This multilateral cooperation is developing steadily”.

Speaking about the history of our relations, Mrs. Bahar Muradova said that at various stages of history, relations have been established in the interests of our states and peoples.

Noting that the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have entered a new stage, Mrs. Muradova said that the main document conditioning this stage is the Shusha Declaration signed on June 15. “This document reflects the tasks and goals set by both countries in the current situation. I would also like to emphasize a special document, which is a protocol of cooperation signed between our parties based on the Shusha Declaration and the relations between the two friendly countries. We have defined our mutual obligations to contribute to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. We must establish cooperation at all levels on the basis of the implementation of these commitments."

Mrs. Ayshe Keshir, chairperson of the AK Party, Women Union thanked for the hospitality and stressed that the current relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are an example for the world.
