Educational sessions aimed at combating human trafficking were held for the participants of the volunteer programme of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, including students of the Baku Girls’ University.

The representative of the Family Affairs Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Rafig Makhmudov made a presentation on "Trafficking and Forced Labour: How to protect yourself" and informed the participants in detail about the forms of human trafficking, its complications and protection measures against such situations.

At the same time, the measures taken by the state to combat trafficking in human beings were brought to the attention of the participants. At the end, questions from the participants were answered.

A total of 140 people took part in the events.
